I walked into Blair Bradshaw's show on Fillmore St. a few days before my final art was due for the record. I still did not know what I wanted for the cover of my CD until I saw this painting on the back wall of the gallery and I knew that was it. I had to have it!! Blair painted "Flag"as a tribute to Jasper Johns and it is comprised of many, many small painted canvases put together to form a beautiful large-scale painting. This is just one of the signature elements in his art.

As far as the track goes...it pretty much speaks for itself.
lyrics
Big Mystery
I want to fire my guns
I want to come out blazing like firewood
But someone's got to hold this fort
Someone's got to stay sane, as if anyone ever could
And what I wouldn't give to walk down Sunset Boulevard
And have all the lights shine just for us
I would take us to the highest spot
Look down on everything and everyone
Until they're all just tiny dots
Big, big, big mystery
Big mystery in the sky
Big, big, big mystery
Lean down and save us tonight
I want to shine like an emerald
I want to wave like the sea
I want to scream bloody murder
Does anyone understand me?
I want to cozy up to home
I want to feel my roots grow through
And through and through
I want you all to myself
Could there ever be just me and you?
Big, big, big mystery
Big mystery in the sky
Big, big, big mystery
Lean down and save us tonight
This is the way that it should be
This is a big, big game with big, big odds
Come on, come on, play with me
I want to shine like an emerald
I want to wave like the sea
I want you all to myself
Could there ever be just you and me?
Big, big, big mystery
Big mystery in the sky
Big, big, big mystery
Lean down and save us tonight
